In our efforts to achieve our mission of ‘Cataract free Delhi’ a further revolutionary beginning was made by signing of MOU with Amway Opportunity Foundation Noida for organizing large scale free eye check up camps.

It has been a mission of Mahavir International Delhi to provide medical support to the maximum no. of needy people. Towards this end, the organization has taken up an ambitious project aptly named "Doctor at Doorstep". Under this program, fully equipped mobile vans complete with all medical facilities including an OT, will be deputed with a team of doctors & paramedical staff to provide treatment and conduct operations at their doorstep. This is a unique & innovative initiative by the organization to fulfill the goals set by it.

It is a joint programme with the NGO Prayas which is working actively for the welfare of street children. Under this project, Mahavir International's team of doctors & paramedical staff will provide free eye care services to children at five centers of PRAYAS in Delhi - Kirti Nagar, Tuglaqabad, Jahangirpuri, Bhati Mines and, Vivek Vihar.

Eyecare services at the Kirti Nagar center have been started and services at the other centers is slated to commence shortly.

A maiden attempt has been made recently in the far flung hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh where medical services are not available. Mahavir International Delhi has organized health camps in remote villages where free eye checkups & IOL cataract operations were conducted.
